Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 20, 2026
SoccerPortalX (operated by PXII Studio Canada Inc., “we”, “our”, “us”) operates the website soccerportalx.com (the “Service”). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that your browser automatically sends when you visit the Service, including:
- Your IP address, browser type, and device type
- Pages you visit on our Service and time spent on each
- Referring URLs (the page you came from)
- Approximate geographic location (country / region level)
- Cookie identifiers (see “Cookies” below)
When you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter, you additionally provide your email address. We do not collect payment information because the Service is free to use.
2. How We Use Information
- To deliver content and features (live scores, match data, articles, podcasts)
- To measure site performance and improve the user experience
- To display advertisements that help fund the Service
- To send newsletter emails if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe any time)
- To comply with applicable laws and prevent abuse
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Service. Cookies fall into four categories:
- Essential — required for the Service to work (e.g. remembering your language or dark-mode preference).
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 helps us understand which pages are popular. See Google's partner-site policy.
- Advertising — Google AdSense and third-party advertisers use cookies to show more relevant ads. See how Google uses advertising cookies.
- Personalization — to remember your favorite teams or saved matches if you opt in.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent banner (Google's certified Funding Choices CMP) appears on your first visit so you can choose what cookies to allow. You can reopen the banner at any time from the footer of the Service.
4. Third-Party Services
The following third parties may process your personal data in connection with your visit:
- Google AdSense — displays advertisements. Google is a third-party vendor using cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to our and other websites. Opt out via Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous visitor analytics to help us understand usage patterns. Opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.
- Google Funding Choices — our EU/UK/Switzerland consent management platform. Stores your consent choice in a cookie.
- Our email service provider — if you subscribe to the newsletter, your email is stored and transmitted by a GDPR-compliant transactional email provider solely for newsletter delivery.
- Our hosting provider — serves the Service over HTTPS and maintains short-term access logs for security.
Live sports data, video highlights, and news feeds displayed on the Service come from licensed third-party sources. These integrations are server-to-server and do not share your personal information with those sources.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the third-party services listed above, each of which has its own privacy policy and processes data on our behalf or under its own terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the data we have about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate data.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten” under GDPR, “right to delete” under CCPA).
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of sale — we do not sell personal data, but under CCPA you can still submit a request to confirm this.
- Withdraw consent — you can change cookie choices via the consent banner at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We respond within 30 days as required under GDPR.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data Retention
Server logs (including IP addresses) are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging. Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Cookies expire as specified at the time they are set.
9. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption, secure hosting, and limit access to your data to authorized personnel only. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
Our servers are hosted in the United States / Europe. If you visit us from another country, your data will be transferred to these locations. By using the Service you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page and the effective date will be updated. Continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance.
12. Contact
